V BA vs. Southern Wells Varsity vs Southern Wells Jr-Sr High School (29 - 3) WinThe Indians won big over Southern Wells 29-3 on Monday. The Indians came out strong, scoring in the 1st after Gavin Baumgartner, an error, and Jacob Schwartz each brought in a run. They exploded for 10 runs in the 2nd with big hits from Henry Schnepp, Kallen Quaderer, Gavin Baumgartner, Blake Farmer, Merick Mobley, Levi Crandall, Amari Elkins, and Seth Yoder. They added seven more runs in the 3rd behind contributions from Levi Crandall, Henry Schnepp. In the 5th, Devin Fritch tripled, Hammond, Riggs, Pence, helped plate eight more runs. Jacob Schwartz earned the win, striking out four over two innings. Mobley added three innings of relief with three strikeouts. The Indians totaled 18 hits, with Henry Schnepp, Kallen Quaderer, Blake Farmer, and Kaiden Pence collecting multiple hits. Levi Crandall, Devin Fritch, Kallen Quaderer, and Kaiden Pence each had three RBIs. Seth Yoder drew two walks as the team totaled nine, while Kallen Quaderer, Blake Farmer, Seth Yoder, and Brodie Hammond led an aggressive effort with 12 stolen bases.
